renault prices

Car  clio 1.2 16v
recently my hazard button failed to work. i visited my nearest breakers yard and the informed that they are a common fault on the clio's. i try a number of yards but couldn't get my hands on one. thinking that it was just a switch/ button, it wouldn't be too much from the dealer. i visited may local dealer, where they informed me of a price. £27. his answer for this was simply " anything that has electrics to it has a price ".
i think i am now into double figures of how many times i have told renault to fook off with there prices. does anyone else agree with me that they seem to be one of the most expensive when its comes to the dealership:mad::mad::mad:

Yep. They know you need it, so they know what they can charge and that people who aren't 'in the know' will pay.

Sounds cheap for Renault. If you're happy with Renault patented parts (parts manufactured under license from Renault), then these usually cost half the price - depends on how fussy you are.

might kick off again with head office. last time i got a cheque for £300 for the inconvience of them having my car for 6 days to change the injectors. they did it under warrenty for me but i needed a car for work and wouldn't provide me with a courtesy car due to my age. they priced it out for loss of earnings
