'Renault' rear badge for 182

I'm currently in the market for a rear 'Renault' badge for the boot of a 182.
I have the 'Sport' and now require the 'Renault'.

Renault stock the item at a ridiculous price and have given me the part no. 7700817027.
Elsewhere this item (part no.) is advertised for earlier model Laguna's and Megane's.
The item also has 3 pins on the back, whereas I thought they were self adhesive.

As I don't have one to measure etc, can anyone answer the following please -

a) Was this specific 'Renault' badge across the Renault range from 1998 onwards?
b) Are these only available with the pins and not self adhesive?
c) I've had no response from folk with 182 parts but if anyone has an original badge for sale please get in touch.

I replaced mine not so long back. I ordered one off eBay. It had the pins and self adhesive backing. I just cut the pins off. It says out of stock but the part number may help you cheers

Thanks Rob, I'm surprised that this same badge was in use from the 9ts and into the 2000s as well as being used on other models.

I may as well buy one from eBay, then see if they're the same as OE next time I'm in the company of other 182's.

Cheers Rob, much appreciate the picture and confirmation that the eBay badges are the same as the expensive option from Renault Enfield.

I'll place an order and cut off the pins once I've got them positioned and good for fitting!

i got a genuine one via a seller in Turkey last month, I've not fitted it yet but it looks perfect!

The ones being sold by dealers today with the pins/self adhesive are different to the original. The underscore in the original has a groove in it and the ones on sale today do not. I've never found an original for sale in recent years so check carefully what you buy.
