That guy from renault just gave a bad name to the company! He just tried to be intelectually superior to the presenter, but came out on the wrong end!
He should have explained the safety rating of the car and progressed that way to shutting the presenter up IMO!

The safety rating isn't going to stop the bonnet flying up at speed.

It's been dealt with all last minute and makes them look incompetent.

A former senior manager quit his job over it - what does that tell you?

I think we should all email in about failing engine mounts, leaking dampers and exhausts that fall off rather too often...

I know the safety rating isnt going to stop the bonnet up at speed....But I feel that the safety rating would be a sign of proof that besides the bonnet problem, the clio is a very safe car. And they need to regain customers' confidence in order to rescue their reputation.
And they really should recall the cars i think

There just a joke altogether. their customer service is very poor,

the thing is they have left it to late, even if they did call the cars or send out this letter its to late really, they should of acted quicker.

They just happen to make very nice cars though

Mine went in for the good old knocking on the suspension and they replaced a leaking damper.
