Renault Warranties.

Just curious to know what warranties Renault offered on the Sports. I know most manufactures offer milage and age related warranties for paint work and mechanical parts.

Only ask as i have a 182 with only 54k on the clock and is only 9 years old. I was wondering if i could take advantage of any warranties before it is to late. Nothing wrong with the car i was just wondering what options there are.

I was thinking this today, I think some parts have individual warranties, could be wrong though.

They did do a Renault Premiere Warranty - but only for cars less than 3 (or maybe 5) years old iirc.

I took it out when buying mine (was £250 for 2 years), safe to say they're useless at best.

Took it in due to the standard "rocker cover oil leak" - after going back and forth for a few months they insisted they knew what it was, and changed the "oil cannister" - nfi what one of those is, but presume they meant oil filter, in which case it's in the completely wrong area to do that.

I did push quite a bit, but got no where, wouldn't recommend one.

Might take mine into Renault Monday to get the bonnet catch checked. Only had it 3 weeks but got no letter so.
