Renaults own insurance scheme?

  A Grey Slab (Audi Estate)
Fairly straight forward, is Renaults own insurance scheme any good / what they like to deal with. Had a great quote off them but never dealt with them.

(P.s. Thanks for any info in advance, but please no "have you tried every other insurance company under the sun because I got a good quote off them...", I have tried most :) cheers!)

not sure, but when i bought my first clio and got 1 years free insurance with them, i actually got another years ncb free, which is recognised by all of the other insurers, didn't realise until i left them, so that was nice :) now have 7 years ncb and have only been driving 6 years.

i am currently insured with them they are great people never had no probs
R20GRC - you only got 1 year free i left with 4 yrs ncb after i had my free ins and stayed 1 year after the free ins

They don't offer track insurance.
When I had my claim they were very good no paperwork (just a quick few questions when i told them saying where it was etc) coutesy car when I needed it. They weren't very competitive though for renewal.

Cheers everyone. Think I will give them a go. Just a bit strange how they where £130 ish pound cheaper than everyone else, Just made me wonder if there was something up.

They insure any car I think, there suppose to be good for any Renault vehicle although it depends on who you are you can find other specialists cheaper. Tesco are usually the cheapest.

I'm with Renault as i bought a new clio about 5 years ago, got first year free insurance and have stayed with them since. When my car was broken into and the radio stolen, I'd had the window replaced within 2 hours, the door repaired within 10 days and a stereo of equivalent value was fitted at a time of my choosing by a TOAD alarm installer. Also when I got my SP30 (37mph in a 30 limit) I rang them up and told them straight away and it never affected my premium at all. Can't fault them to be honest.

One SP30 shouldnt effect a premium.

I may give these lot a try when mine runs out in Feb then.
