Would any member know whether there is such a specific item as a RenaultSport catalyst (not the standard 172 catalyst) but perhaps a cat designed for the Clio Cup race cars for example?
Is there is such a catalyst, would anyone know that part number?
Alternatively, what other options do I have for a replacement of that part of the exhaust system? A de-cat (is there very much difference between a car with and without a cat?)? Perhaps, Supersprint or OMP?
Also, what happens if say the cat & centre-pipe was a certain brand and the backbox of a different brand? Would there possibly be a non-optimal expulsion of waste gases and hence decrease in performance?
