Iirc i watched one of chips videos a few months back and he did the very same thing at the same part of the track.

Very true, it was a similar spin.

I had just dropped the instructor back where the video starts and decided to go back out on my own for a couple of hot laps... combination of poor driving and too much confidence was the cause of it really, although i think my rear tyres were possibly another cause for it.
