Renaultsport Spyder / Performance Data

V

v6Max

Does anybody know of a good site for performance data - preferably manufacturers or properly logged data?

Alternatively anyone who knows the following about the Renaultsport Spyder (and I mean the ones from the Cup series, not the roadgoing variant i.e. the proper race car version) I would be very greatful:

Weight, BHP, BHP per ton, torque, 0-60

Thanks...

Ben was waving his magic wand at one of these last time I was at GDI/AWT

...dirty little boy.

because it has a shed load of crap attatched to it and the actual ally spar frame is massive.

It uses a megane type hybrid engine.

handles quite well, twitchy as funk, but the one im doing is on A032Rs not road tyres....

really needs an lsd

Ok thanks guys.

The one I have is not the road going version - its an ex Cup car. Its not as porky as the road variant.

If you know where to look there not as expensive as you may think. As I said ours is an ex Cup car, with a complete respray, an extra set of wheels, a new rear clam-shell, new pads and front discs it cost us less than 10k - if you can find me an S2 Elise for that PM because Im looking for one of those as well :)

Ive never driven the road-going version but I drove ours at Bthorpe recently and in comparison to our S1 Elise it was in a different league.

Having said all that BenR - do you know a good source for driveshafts for them (and I need them quickly). Ours snapped a shaft on the 2nd day of testing - but it had had a hard time!

They are the porky road versions - they even have windscreens! Probably find they have a heater and carpets as well :)
