Replacing Clio 172 ph1 center radio frame

Car  Clio 172 phase 1
Hey guys! My Clio is missing the silver center piece in the dash, literally just have a hole where the radio should be. I bought it like this, the previous owner managed to crack the original one. I have sourced the part already, but it seems like it has to be screwed in from behind the lower dash? Is there a way to bodge it in? Cut it and glue it in? Is removing the lower dash as tough job?

Yikes! That's a big hole!

Bottom dash off unfortunately to access behind it.

I'm pretty sure there's stuff in the way of you try and get at it by just taking the top dash off but worth checking. Maybe you could cut away whats being to squeeze it through and glue it on.

That being said if it has all the vents and some ducting attached I think there's no chance.

Bottom dash off isn't that difficult with some patience and torx screwdriver!
