Replacing injector when cover bolt is rounded

How will that work? From what i'm reading its on the wrong way and its a shouldered nut thats on it?

Yes your correct, but you'd still manage to get a socket to bite into it to get it off, it wont be on tight, its barely on a thread, will be easier than cutting it off imo

Before you hack it to pieces just check to see if one of your mates has a Gator Grip socket.

Hammer on a long reach 9mm socket with an extension bar or something and smash the s**t out of it

Or

As before, grind a slot, then use a hammer to split it so you can get half off without the nut, then cut the other side off safely with a good view of the fuel rail.

Day 3: Finally had success using the bolt remover and a borrowed impact driver.

Replaced the injector. And problem solved! The misfire has gone.
Had to be crawling around on flying-ant day though. I was covered. I even got a trained ant to pose >

Now I can get at lower intake I might finally get round to port matching.

Just jammed a screwdriver into it. It wasn't tight.

Glad you got it sorted, that little, cheap set of gripper sockets had got me out the sh*t a few times now.
