replacing rear window

Is it easy to replace the rear window on a 172 or is it a specialist job i.e get a windscreen repair company to do it? Mine has a scuff in the glass from the previous owner activating the rear wiper despite the blade being missing.

I've tried jewellers rouge already to no avail
