Replacing subframe .

  clio 172 phase 2
Well basically ive come to the conclusion my subframe is bent or slightly kinked as the osf suspension strut is slightly angled like this / i can see this by looking at my solid top mounts and i can see the top of the shock is leaning . The previous owner said he had a fight with a kerb at some point .

Anyways more to the point how much we looking at to replace one ? Also isit easy enough to replace on axle stands ?

It's do-able on axel stands, we've done a couple (I'm a glorified valeter and my mates a builder! lol) on the floor and its more difficult than on a ramp, but its certainly doable.

Allow a day for it if you're confident, 2 if you're a bit special.

Not too hard but can be a pain in the ass if the captive nuts spin.

You sure the hub or wishbone isn't bent?

Get some pics up.
