Replacing subframe .

Car  clio 172 phase 2
Well basically ive come to the conclusion my subframe is bent or slightly kinked as the osf suspension strut is slightly angled like this / i can see this by looking at my solid top mounts and i can see the top of the shock is leaning . The previous owner said he had a fight with a kerb at some point .

Anyways more to the point how much we looking at to replace one ? Also isit easy enough to replace on axle stands ?

It's do-able on axel stands, we've done a couple (I'm a glorified valeter and my mates a builder! lol) on the floor and its more difficult than on a ramp, but its certainly doable.

Allow a day for it if you're confident, 2 if you're a bit special.

Not too hard but can be a pain in the ass if the captive nuts spin.

You sure the hub or wishbone isn't bent?

Get some pics up.

Will get some pics up 2moro mate . As far as im aware i cannot see anything wrong with the wishbone :/ ive changed the ball joint on that side made no diff.
But the wishbone has got me thinking wouldnt that bend before the subframe?

Guna take the wishbones off today see of theres any kinks or a somthing . Im hoping its just the wishbones

So removed wishbones to see if anythings bent today .
