reset abs light on mk1 172

hi lads is there any way of turning of the abs light without clip or similar diagnostic equipment?

If the lights on, there's a fault. If you turn it off, as soon as the wheels turn it will come on again unless the fault is rectified.

Take the bulb out.

taking the bulb out isnt the answer lol,just replaced a ring,thought it would reset itself,unless theres another fault in the system.

take the negative off the battery terminal, wait say 20 secs and reconnect. thats how i reset it on my car after abs sensor was changed.
