Resetting milage on mk1 clock





Is this possible (and easy to do) without breaking them?

Nowt dodgy going on - just fancy some willy clocks but want to keep my milage reading...
 


ah so the mileage reading it not bonded to the dials themselves? Thats cool - just to find a set now!

i only just realised that you can literally take apart every part of the dials and swap rev counters and speedos etc.
 


you need an old speedo cable...bastardise it to your drill.... connect one end to drill and one end to clocks and puit it in reverse! lol....thats why im after a old speedo cable!

hmm interesting, i jus wanna swap my dials over for 16v ones, not up to anythin dodgy but i have only doen 50,000 and the dials say 102,000!!!
