No chance! I was quoted a blow in on my front bumper for £60, and that was for a corner.... I feel a modded 197 bumper in my bones ;)

eek, bio maybe if u diy smooth and prep it and get them to spray it. it will drop

Tis waht im thinking too mate but never tryed filler or fiberglassing before my self FM you seem to know your stuff how hard would it be to DIY smooth some small aeas on a Mk3 Bumper ? could send you a pic of said areas if that would better help you explain

got a picture of the bumper?

if you aint touched filler before i wouldnt really recommend trying it as you'll just be wasting money on products

This pic do you ?? be the two Bump strips removed and smoothed i know theres a big hole behind each for the rear parking sensor witch would have to be filled.

just drop out the plastic mouldings, fill any holes by cutting out some plastic from something and bond it in. then fibreglass the hole up, sand it down so its indented slightly, then skim it with filler, overlapping the entire thing.

block it down with p80, then drop to p180, finish with p320 (all dry)

then give it all a wetflat with P800, P1000 or P1200 to get rid of any rough bits that will have furred up.

then prime it

products

small tin of fibreglass
small tin of easy sand filler
can of aerosol cellulose primer
P80x2
P180x2
P320x2
P800, P1000 or P1200 wetordry(any, dont matter which)
rubber sanding block

get everything from halfords

you can use the fibreglass to bond it. best to use a bonding adhesive though, i recommend sikaflex

but for how small it is and to keep the costs down, use some of the fibreglass, wont hurt.
just make sure you rough all inside the hole first with P80 to give the fibreglass something to key to

Cheers mate great help last question...i think lol....Will i have to leave any weight or that on the plastic to help it bond or will it be ok just to leave it and let it dry ??

  Punto/Clio GTT
just push it in with your fingers hard, excess fibreglass should spread out and push out, securing it all in place solid

Seriously wouldn't do it yourself mate, you'll regret it.

I've been quoted 200 plus vat for a front bumper respray from an expensive place.

I aint sprayinng it myself i know id f**k that up, going to get qoutes tomoz for the smoothing and spraying and just the spraying ! will see what route i take but to be honest i like to learn by doing !

I have a few bumps and scratches, does anyone have an idea of how much I would be looking at to getting these resprayed.

Did the front one by catching a wall, and the back one was done by a mate driving into the back of me. :(

But the damage to his car was a lot worse.

Yeah wanted to but to much hassle to get it on with the exhaust plus haccking away at the defuser would be stupid things woth £280 according to reno lol !
