Respraying hub caps?

lol... let the flaming begin!

As some of you may know, im forced to run steelies for a few months. Currently have no hubcaps on them so im wondering what I can do to them to make them look less crappy because atm they have made a huge difference to my car and it looks like a riiiiiite banger....

I can put hubcaps I have on, but there slightly scratched up... so therefore im thinking of respraying them (possibly matt black). Anyone got any ideas how to do this? Because there just plastic...

Just wipe them down using a damp rag. Let them dry and paint them.

I paint all the scratched trims I get in work and they come up like new! (I do mine silver though)

What paint should I use? and the paint process?

If its the normal wet/dry sand, 3 layers base then laquer i cant be assed lol.

i painted mine white, and did the normal sand, primer, base coat then laquer
took a whole day

I use a can of silver paint.

That is as far as my process goes tbh.

No primer, no rubbing down, no laquer. Its a wheel trim, not a Bonnet!

Exactly, what kind of paint? i want something hard wearing.

Just a normal can of cheap silver paint.

I've got some satin Black too. I'll post you one if you want!

You won't get it mate. Its trade stuff.

Just go to Halfords or any other car spares shop and buy a can (possibly 2) of 'SATIN BLACK PAINT'

They're all the same and they will be fine.
