carrying on from this thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=207159&highlight=xbox+360 rang microsoft back today because the fookers were trying to charge me (£80) because the xbox died (3 red lights) so i made a complaint lastweek saying why should i pay.its a common problem but he was having none of it saying its not a common problem blah blah. eventually they said they would get a manager ring me back in a week. they didnt so anyway i phoned today and argued again and hey presto its being sent of tommorow.wohoo sorry for the long post

mine had 3 red lights again, wrapped it in a towel and hey presto - it working again.

a drop from the bedroom window cured mine. indefinately.

got a new one as a pressie from the parents last christmas. no trouble since. (touch wood)

What are the 3 red lights on the XBox's? Is it a generic display to say 'I'm fooked'?

The one's I've been on, always seem to run really, really hot. No surprise they end up dying!

xbox 360. yes it just to say im f**ked really. its a c**t cause it crashed when i was watching a dvd then the 3 red lights came up. i do agree they do seem to get really hot
