rev limiter

my rev limiter in say second, when booted for the first time can cut in at 60mph, then say the next at 66mph?

There is a reduced limit when the engine is cold to reduce emmisions ! you should always wait until the engine is warm before u kill the nutts off the car anyway !!

yeah, i never boot it when cold though, always wait till needle is middle, unless that dispay maybe slightly different as that is coolant temp - could be another like my gte 16V?

Yeah rev it like mad when its cold, bring on the engine rebuild lol

It takes about 8 - 10 miles of 60mph driving to get full revs

Even though your coolant temp may be up by say 2 miles, your oil will still be on the cool side.

coolent temp means f**k all, its the oil temp you wanna be watchin....
