Reverse lights

My reverse lights do not work changed bulbs and still do not work do u need these working 4 m o t? I'm kinda thinking it's the plug on the gearbox maybe disconnected but can't seem 2 find where it should b any1 know where on the gearbox this is?? Cheers in advance

Yep, Mot failure otherwise.

Do they have a separate fuse?

My mot is 11am 2moz aswell don't think they would b on a seperate fuse??

I think it's on top of the gearbox, towards the rear.

They aren't seperately fused as far as I know.

Had the air box off but couldn't see or feel anything it's the only thing I can think of y the 2 lights would not b workin

Does your rear wiper 'wipe' when you select reverse and your auto wipers are 'on'?

No back wiper does not come on with reverse

Switch faulty/unplugged then.

Seems very weird if it isnt? :S

Switch can b found by looking underneath car just thought I'd say incase any1 has this problem again

reverse lights do not come into an MOT and it does sound like the switch faulty in the gearbox
