Revs getting stuck

Well the other day my car stalled while I was reversing then again when parking it seems to happen when at low revs and then today my revs are getting stuck when cuming up to a junction the revs get stuck around 2000/1500 and the after a couple of seconds they drop back down any ideas what could cause this I've all ready cleaned the tb

Ph1 172? If so it could be the throttle cable

Or your idle control valve, could be both causing issues

Just had a new cable done with cam belt ( phase 1 172 standard )

It's not actually the throttle cable, its the throttle getting slightly stuck.

You need to clean it properly. I.e stripping back to all single components and cleaning and rebuilding!
