revs sticking then car cuts out helppp please

when im driving along sometimes my revs stick at 3 to 4 thousand rpm and when i go to push my foot on the accelerator the car cuts out then wont start for about 10mins. I think a sensor is sending wrong messages to the ecu could someone please help me :dapprove:​

right, as with the majority of 1.2 16v issues, first suspect is the loom. Needs to go on diagnostics to check it out and see what the ECU thinks is going on though. I'm not far from you
