After lacquring my wheels i started the finishing touches.

Bit of wet and dry to get them super smooth

then scratch x to get rid of the sanding marks all well so far

Then some SRP still all good

Then some EGP still all good

Then some caranuba wax Still all good

Though these look the dogs dangles

got my second one out to do and it was a hell of a lot more shiny that the one i finished :S

Pretty sure it's the sanding thats done it any ideas how to super buff sanded lacquer?

It was super fine glass paper stuff btw

Cheers

Depending how much flatting you did with the wet and dry you would/may need to spend some real time with the scratch X. I use Menzerna Intensive Polish by machine after wet flatting by machine and even that takes some time.

You have knocked the orange peel back by the looks of it but caused a mild haze in the sanding. What grade of wet and dry?

Yeah just keep polishing with the Scratch X till you get the gloss back. You could use something more abbrassive to polish but must are better suited to machine application.
