was looking at it last night,by looks of it you cant use it in car with having it attached to cig lighter charger:S

hmmmmm decisions, always these hidden costs with these things, was going to ask for a private plate for christmas, but by the time you add the DOT fee etc it gets too expensive.

Those are very nice units. Yup i would nab one of those myself

BTW, regarding private plate, buy direct from dvla and they include costs in there plate prices!

Will try DVLA, so you reckon the satnav one is worth the extra £69 over the first one.

Well the £69 extra is effectivly getting you a great sat nav unit !

Well worth it IMO.

The first is purely a camera detector. The second option gives you the best of both world. A reputable camera detector and sat nav.

Dont be fooled by PDA/TomToms with camera POI's there never as good as proper updtated camera detectors.

Have they improved the Road Angel sat nav software as I read alot of negative reviews for it when originally released?

It has improved a hell of a lot.

Id suggest you go try one out at your local Halfords. See hwo you get on with the interface.

Soooo many people end up buying a unit because it has lots of features etc... but it can all be laid out very badly!

Worth spending the extra time looking to see what will be comfortable to use in the car

i was looking at the Road Angel yesterday but was put of by some poor reviews...dont really need one cos i got a TT ONE but a sucker for a bargain lol

the microgo wont work behind the 182 windscreen and has no internal battery so has to work on the cigar lighter at all times...disappointed really so whacked it on ebay

I'd imagine the TT nav software is better than the Road Angel.
