So I've got two little black stickers on my bumper either side of the thin vent between the top and bottom grille.

The pic below shows the right hand one has perished a little.

Me being me I wanted to replace it like for like and tidy up the front end.

Now for the funny bit.

Went to Renault and showed them this pic on my phone (cos trying to explain to someone with half a brain is so taxing) and the guy had never had to order them before, and didn't even know they were there. Theres a thing!!

Anyhoo, I ordered them and then found out they are going to stripe me up for, wait for it.....

..........£19.50. yep nearly £20 for two pieces of sticky back plastic.

Thanks Renault for stealing my cash. Well you've got to have a bit of bubbly at the shareholders meeting!!!:drunk:

Lol, either take both of them off, or cut a piece of tape to fit.

Common sense ftw

Common yes, sense no.

Nice one Tony Hart.

Im a bit of a perfectionist and it's not just a piece of tape that Renault supply. It's a mottled abs adhesived backed plastic.

To touch up the black or the RB? either way it would look gash, surely?

  In between cars....
Sure with a steady hand you could have "colour coded" the black bit and got rid of a couple stone chips to boot, Dont think itd look gash, you barely see those bits as it is

funny you should say that. When I posted pics after a detailing sesh a few weeks ago someone pointed them out and it wasn't a close up pic. Then me and Alex^^^ had a bit of a heated debate lol.

I think it would look like and spotty chav bird with uneven foundation tbh.

and like pepperbarmyami said I could just remove them.

Thing is with these, when the bumpers are resprayed these are hardly ever replaced by body shops. So could be a sign with these missing that the car has been crashed.

When looking for my car I saw 1 without these, put me off straight away.

I swear mine are actual plastic, had a look and they didn't feel like something laid over the top, felt like an actual insert to me...
Meh, i dunno.

Renault are gay. 80 odd quid for washer jet blanks. Without the nuts, of course.

Or most likely, they had a front end respray to tidy up the stone chips.

I'm surprised they sell them at all. Thought they'd make you buy a new bumper.

Only just found this thread! I went to Renault on Friday afternoon having been aware that I was missing a sticker by some eagle eyed members on here (I never noticed when buying the car!). I spent 10 minutes with a chap behind a desk trying to tell him what it was I was after (the majoirty of this was actually spent pointing out that YET AGAIN he had brought up the PH1 parts list). When he told me the price I nearly threw up on him!
