what sort of cage are you looking for, bolt or weld?

most people on here seem to think that strut braces are a waste of time too.

Are they,i put them on both of my evos and they made a hell of a difference but ive never had a clio before so dont know.

If the general concensus is they are worthless then i wont bother, its not about show is it!!

seems to be what most people think, i'd say go and try the car first and make up your own mind.

i know i have never thought that the car needed to be more rigid, and that is with a competition setup.

Why is Safety devices better than Omp??

Why is Nike better than Hi-tec, lol. The Safety Devices cages just look brilliant, fit with the dash and standard interior, have removeable sections etc. Just a more complete package.

Depends what you're after I guess.

I do trackdays the cage is a must but i cannot see the point spending double the money on a safety devices when OMP is a race approved product just my view.

Not saying that it is better, The OMP cage is good but the SD one doesn't need painted, or cut through dash, and comes with all the plates/towers made up ready to be fitted. Also has a harness bar as standard. OMP one takes around twice as long to fit.

Like I say, it depends what sort of cage you are after. An OMP is fine for a dedicated track car, the Safety devices cage is more suited to a fast road/track car. Although, that doesnt take away from its ability in anyway.
