roll cages

debating wheather to go the full weld in option most expensive, or the bolt in but hear so many different opinions i hear that weld in is the best due to no flex points and is the stifest way of making your car handle the best rather than the bolt in also, who does the best cage including door bars and i heat that the cheaper OMP ones are horible to fit so please give me some advice cheers?

I have a full weld in 9 point OMP cage, wasnt too bad to fit tbh. It deffently only goes in one way lol

Fit of my OMP in standard form into my Mk1 was pretty crap. So I chopped it out after a year and did it properly!

ok so u think weld in best option in the sense no chance of coming loose obviously in comparision to bolt in ?

I dont think bolt in cages come loose. I bought a weld in cage because i'm keeping my clio untill she dies so i thought i might as well get a fairly good one.

If your going to sell up in a few months or a year then just get a bolt in cage and you can allways sell it and put the car back to standard :)
