well to be honest take the speed in to concern of both cars, by the time i flashed him to turn off hes lights he was past me and it happend. But if even if i was doing 30 i would have still landed in the ditch maybe not upside down, just unlucky that i slipped on a bit of wet road really, nothing i could really do.

yeah basically wont be getting the car back, will just have to watch it get crushed to the same size of my oven

i thought airbags only deployed if the car had a front end collision (so would explain dash/steering wheel bags not exploding) but surely mk3s have side airbags too?

well yeah i was thinking that, but still you would have thought the force of the car rolling near twice would have set them off just for saftey?

and no they don't have side airbags, i cant remeber when i bought it if you had to pay extra for the side airbags or if that was somewhere else i done it, cant remember wa near 2 years ago

Glad you're ok though, that's the main thing. I barrel rolled a mini into a field when I was 17. My mates & I all got out largely unharmed apart from a few cuts, and a big bruise on my ego.

The day after it happend my dad went down to my car to take some photos and video's to rub in my face and also wait for the recovery. When he got back he gave me a suprise. His surprise is the right hand side of the picture

My friend who came to help me that night get all my crap out also gave me a gift last night, and his is the left hand side of the picture!

i seem to think clios are a bit back end happy and like to roll, ive been down scrappers a cuple times n seen a few ph2 mk2's down there batterd up and rolled,

and when my wheel came off in march, well i thought she was gonna roll then, but alas vice grip on the steering wheel saved my ass from danger

172Cups are the worst because they have no ESP or ABS. As soon as it rains, they just leap off into fields. Dangerous IIRC.
