Rolling road

Anyone else had there car rrd at BBPT, & how accurate did you find the rollers?

If thats accurate, youve got the first 172 to be up on power standard.

What was the figure at the wheels, and what about the torque?

realistic or did they just show you what you wanted to see lol
Realistic as in i had a standard 1.8 Clio 16v - no mods apart from magnex cat back system and i made "138.2 bhp" i was happy with that.

i have the print ou t if anyone can upload it.

i got 144 at the wheels
Sounds about right as a wheel figure for a properly running 172.

Would like to see the graph actually. Either use the Cliosport uploader or send it to me at mailto:rhys172@blueyonder.co.uk">rhys172@blueyonder.co.uk and Ill host it.

That would be approx 169bhp @ fly according to my maths, so perfect for a standard 172

Sounds like their rollers are a little generous with the "guesstimate" fly figure, but most places are.

Well see what mine has on Saturday...

well it say 173.2 on the print out and they say its a good clio so i will stick to that thanks.

You will see the print in a little while

As long as youre happy...

But a Clio does not have a 17% transmission loss!

Why is the torque curve always all over the place?!
I reckon were going to see some all over the place torque readings this weekend at the Bury RR day. Every RR day Ive been to there have been 172s with odd/bad torque curves. Isnt this the reason that the RSport/GrpN ECU works so well, as it somehow smooths the delivery of the torque?
