Rotational weight loss?

I know there was somehting upon here about how much weight lost directly from a wheel calculates to rotational loss......anyone got a link to it? Or an external link please?!

Do you mean rotational inertia loss?

Surely it would depend on how far out from the centre the saving's made?

No idea on the calculation though.

there was alink on a thread on here about the difference, think it was 2kgs loss in wheels (all round so 0.5kg per corner) works out to 5kgs loss of body weight.

Not very good explanation like!

Not very long and but losing 1kg per wheel = 10kg weight saving !!
