Rs stamped inlet

I'd like to know the truth about this. In the picture is a drawing of how the original (172) inlet is originally a little restrictive.

How about the rs stamped ones? Do or don't they have the restriction?

As far as I'm aware the rs stamped inlet is an improvement on the original but still not as good as it could be!

If your engine has standard inlets and you want RS inlets. Do you have to get them matched to the head or to just the upper inlet ?

The RS inlet is just a better casting, that's all.

Yep, less restrictive, better airflow.

Getting standard inlets 'matched' does the same thing,
I already have an RS inlet so having mine matched did sod all apart from making me £170 quid worse off.
