RS Tuner help

So ive backed up my ECU to my hard drive.

I have CB1N

6000

2A05

Going to the CB1N directory, i cant find anything that matches what i have.

What do i need to do now?

only thing i would suggest email henk

it took me 3 maps to find the right one as i had a diff ecu

Im thinking i might have to update the ECU to the 6400 2A07.rst file, to update the ECU.

Then i can use the 6400 2A07 98RON.cal file to remap?

you could try it but it may bring enginemanagement on liek it did with mine

SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL MAP FIRST!!!!!!!!

can always go back but i would contact henk cause it dont seem to be a map for your ecu there

send him your original and he sort u out

Yeh ive read the ECU, and saved that to my desktop

1) Update software to 6500, write ECU (rst)
2) Update cal to 6500_xxxx, write CAL (cal)

and write cal to

6500_5404 RON98 june 2009.cal
6500_5B03 RON98 dec 2008.cal

What did you do in the end Ben, cos i've got a similar problem?
Connected mine up for the first time this afternoon and i'm running: 6100 2A06.

Backed up my original ECU, but a bit unsure whether to update to 6500 like you. And if so, which one! I'm thinking of updating to 6500_5404 so I can write cal to 6500_5404 RON98 june 2009.cal, because it's the latest version!

Is this what you did by any chance?

Yes thats good. Remember updating the software takes about 25 minutes. Needless to say your battery must be 100% or attach a battery charger.

O my lord!!! Its awesome!!!

Love the sound of it revving round to 7800. 120mph in 4th is pretty fun aswell (Private runway of course)

Its awesome mate. You will feel the difference straight away. Its also better lower down in the rev range aswell.

If your battery gos flat half way thru does it damage the ecu ??

I would like to know this also, if you lost power would you be able to just reload the old map on if it lost power mid map.

Ben,can you send me a copy of your original maps 6000_2A05 or send it to Henk,you would do a huge favor to me, please my car is running bad and I want try with the stock map.
