RS Tuner Problem

I remapped my car and its great when it works,
every now and again it goes back to standard, I plug the
box in and no fault codes come up, I erase and refresh anyway
and it sorts it out.

Ive started turning the ESP off before I start the car and the
remap last a bit longer before it goes back to standard.

When I originally read the ECU the SERV & ESP light came on,
today the SERV light came on, on its own? and the map
had gone back to standard.

Anyone else had anything like this?

How can you tell its going back to the standard map - surely if you have rewritten the ECU the original map wont be stored.

You could be right, all I know is what I can feel,

when its working properly it pulls from 2k right through the rev range,
when its not working nothing really happens till 4K.

It feels like it did before it was remapped.

But when you reconnect the RSTuner to remap it again, you can see what map is currently on it so you would know if its changed itself? Which I somehow doubt!

Maybe the ECU is getting used to the map or something along these lines? I know mine runs different when its first loaded for the first couple of days, also used to like to stall until I changed it :)

Maybe i'm not using the right words, I know it probably hasn't gone
back to standard but it certainly feels like it.

We all know when our cars dont feel right, I got use to the new map
so I really notice any drop in power now.

It just strange that when I refresh the ECU it sorts the porblem for a week or so, even though there are no faults.

Weird.
