RS Tuner Question. (I know, another thread... Sorry)

Hi as above I have been looking into this. Is i worth it? I have a lumpy idle and would like to even out the rev range a bit if at all possible?

How much would everything cost if I was to buy a second hand RS tuner and pay for everything to get the 98RON map and get it on my 172?

I am looking at just getting this map done and selling on again.

I've done some searching and most threads/posts advise HOW-TO the RS tuner but not give any sort of rough prices.

Think its about 80-90 quid if you just buy it and sell it, not sure i got live map, but I here rs tuner is good from lots of people on here

I'd say they're easily worth it, the best value for money (and indeed still the best) modification I've done to date!

Some people sell the RSTuner with maps already, so potentially the only cost may be the Unlock code if you sell the RSTuner on.

Ive had a look on Fastchip.nl but there seems to be none in stock... Tuner nor maps. Is this normal for a while?

I would probably be selling it on so for around a max of £90 sounds like a good idea. I'd be using the RON map just to smooth it out a bit.

Well I just sold a new version for £110 which tbh I though was cheap. Such a good mod, would say easily the best value for money one you can do.

I ordered a new one from the fastchip site yesterday and will be using it as soon as i can. I'll keep you updated on what the car is like before and after so you can make your mind up?
