looking at options to get the car mapped and seeing as a local tuner isn't really an option unless I fancy a nice 3hr + drive then I thought I'd explore the rs tuner route. Curious to know the total cost of the kit, plus the map (+ any additional costs?). Also clueless of where to get the maps. I understand fastchip.nl sells the actual unit can't see anywhere for maps. I'm sure I've read when i was searching that someone in the trade section of the forum can supply the map? might of read wrong...
And I suppose the most important question - could a complete car novice do it without too much trouble? If its complicated I'd much rather put the car with a professional than bumf something attempting a DIY job.
