Rs tuner West Midlands

Any one local to Dudley area with a rs tuner to remap my Clio
Have looked into buying one but I'm not very good with stuff like that so just wondering if any one local could help

There locked to the car mate so would be best you buy one and ask for help installing it

Oh I was under the impression you could just buy a new license and use any rs tuner

Yep, once they're used they're locked to that cars ecu and won't work on another, even if you bought a licence the unit would be locked to your car and be useless to the owner, so you'd have to buy another licence so he could use it on his car again, by the time you've done that and bought the maps you'd be near enough at the cost of a new one anyway.

Go to efi or Rs running

Take a drive up to EFI. Think a remap there costs less than a RSTuner plus licence and map

Most only have induction and exhaust mine included, some only have a decent exhaust, remaps are definitely worth it on these cars, if I was you i'd pay for a decent garage/mapper to do it.

You're only 1:30 hours from EFI Parts.

Take it there to get it mapped.

If you do happen to go for the RStuner, which I'd recommend if your car is pretty standard, I'll help you install it.

chris was just talking to me about the generic mapping before he started doing it. when he said about how he was going to do it and the price agreed with him was a bloody good price.

you get power run, then generic map on the car, map then tweaked to suit the car and then another power run. you get both graphs overlayed so you get a before and an after. would of though dan would of put a pic of his graph up!!!!

Very. Especially if you have changed bits, like a decat etc

Im not needing a map but be good drive out lol few from the midlands all good

As far as I know yes. I've never had it mapped but owners before may have? Wouldn't know how to tell

Rs tuner would be able to tell you for sure.

But it's mainly cold start and rev limit is a bit poo on the standard map.

It's a fantastic car. Really is. Looks better than my clio, much nicer place to be etc. Just doesn't handle as well etc. Going for a FRSU to improve things
