Rs tuner with air bag module, if i get unlocked can i turn off airbags to? ph1 172

I have just bought an rs tuner that was used on a 182, i want to use it on my phase 1 172, it has the airbag modules on it, once i buy the unlock code can i then 'map' my phase 1 and also turn of the airbags? and once i have the rs tuner can i switch between standard and mapped at my own free will?

yes to the maps. dunno about airbag. But some 3.3 Resistors will sort the airbag lights.

Be warned the RStuner will lock your ECU to only using an RStuner to map.

Thats fine, i don't plan on selling the unit, does that mean ill be able to switch between my standard map and the fast chip mad as i please with no cost? and what maps can you get for it? can you only choose 1 map or can choose from a few? first 1 is free or all free?

on the rstuner website it says you get 'stage 1 map for free' but I've seen people mention about a few different maps available, 98ron/pops and bangs e.t.c

You have to pay for maps with a 2nd hand tuner.

Yes you can switch between standard and 98ron/pops n bangs at your will

You pay for the unlock code at 60euros, is that the only cost? or does it cost more money to get the maps aswell?

Thank you, can't see the info on the fast chip site about buying the maps, is this done in the software? its going tone a while before i use it but i want to understand what I'm doing!

Nice one cheers, i don't think ill sell the box as i'd want to swap between the 98ron and standard map as and when i please, and maybe even the pops and bangs when i feel like being a dickhead.
