rs200 2009 crank pulley

Good evening ,
got couple of weeks off work so doing my wife's cam belt as its 5 years old.its only done 23,000 miles but still needs doing. Its all stripped pinned and cams locked. I have a manual for F4r engine, but on the crank the bottom pulley is kinda keyed although can't find any mention of it anywhere. I just wondered if there is a different method for timing, I sure i will get by but method in manual needs a loose crank pulley. cheers Rich

The same crank pulley at the bottom is keyway on f4r after 2006. As my 2007 197 is key wayed

So your pulley has a key in it ? just found an old thread i think later ones are keyed , its just so specific about timing method thought might be another way. Although if cam pulleys are loose tension should find its own spot. Ill finish it tomorrow, just dropped oil think getting to oil filter worse than doing cam belt !!
