Rsi Fuel Hoses??

hi everyone, just putting the finishing touches to my 440 turbo conversion, but ive come accross a tiny problem that im hoping somone on here can help with.
can anyone tell which fuel hose is the feed and which is the return??
having looked all thru the haynes manual ive found i pic of them, but it doesn't say which is which, very helpfull.
any help would be good, thanks.

just flick the fuel pump on with both pipes open ended

IIRC one nearest the fanifold is the feed, thhink thats the one that sprayed me wiht petrol when i took it off
