RSi parts in a RT

being as both the models are 8v, are there any engine parts that i could use on my likkle 1.4 from the pokey 1.8 ?

Saying that would it be easier to dump the RSi motor in it instead of an F7P ? im kinda guessing yes here, but correct me if im wrong =]
