RT to Valver



  K20 eg 217 whp.
im really considering the swap now as ive had the RT a year and am really bored of the power or lack of it lol

how much of a task is it to get the engine in and running? if i source a doner car is there anything else thats needed? i have mk1 a phase 3 dont know if that makes any difference.

is there anyone on here who has done it or anyone who can offer some advice on costs etc? would be great, sorry if this is a repeated question by the way.

Do a search, its been asked loads andI can't be bothered typing out another long reply, lol. Its fairly straightforward and you can re-use a lot of bits. However, unless you can do all the work yourself or your RT has had a lot of money put into it I would tend to say go for a valver as they can be had pretty cheap. I toyed with the idea for quite a while but decided against it in the end.
 
Best just but the valver or otherwsie buy a whole crashed car ans swop all the bits you need its cheaper that way.
