Rumbling at 60MPH ++ when accelerating

Car  182, SQ7, Trafic
Any ideas? Just done ball joint so tihnk it may be tracking as it only come from that side?

driveshafts ? Tracking wo'nt give you rumbling . or wheelbearing

*** on second thought ; could be tracking .. was it the ball joint you replaced or the trackrod end joint ?

Track rod got done two weeks ago, tracking wasn't redone then the ball joint was done, then it started doing this after about 20 miles

^^ you def need tracking done once rod-ends are done . And i suppose they have done the ball joint on the lower arm ? i hope it has'nt come loose ! Check that when tracking is done

I've got a trip 100 miles to London Saturday morning so will get it done before then I think lol!

Tracking done, wheels balanced, wheels swapped as front was a little buckled.

STILL DOING IT :( Could anything be bent causing it?

wheel bearing is definitely a possibility. Sometimes they don't move that much, but jack up the car and try to wobble the wheels.

Bearing has slight play in it.

Tyres have been swapped around with different wheels in its place, not them :(

Thinking of Mk1ing the engine :D

i asked on here about similar symptoms, is it like a vicous rumbling as you give it some beans or is it only when driving normally beyond 60?

mine turned out 2 be both shafts and my input shaft bearing or something like that on my gearbox is shagged, so rebuild gearbox is only option at mo,

Hmm, gearbox was rebuilt less than a year ago with a years warranty. It is a vicious rumbling when accelerating 60 and beyond

The drive shaft is also only 2 months old :(

Gonna have to raise the car now and take it to the gearbox rebuilders!
