Just reading evo long termers and the mini JCW had run flats on that got him home in a pickle..

Anyone put them on a 172/182?

  Now Sold :-(
Had them previously on a mini cooper and more recently on a 3 series at work. Unless the suspension is designed around them the ride is very hard for day to day driving.
Most people on the BMW forum swap them for regular tyres as soon as they can.

DO NOT!!!

I've replaced all 4 on my JCW since i got it back in July last year, they are a 'nice' idea but in reality utter pisch...at £120 a pop, you get a nail in one, you've no option than buy a new tyre!!

After winter im putting 4 T1-R's on mine.

IIRC, BMW are doing away with them too and reverting to regular tyres again.

Hmmm can't mind now it was last week but he definitely said bmw are buying all the oe run flat stock and probably doubling the price.

5 different companies didn't have the run flats we needed!
