running like a DOG

just had my cat fitted back onto my 182.
been running it decatted for 3 months with no problems- just too loud.
However it is now LUMPY as he'll--- sometimes dead.
have only done 10 miles I am worried something serious is wrong.
ANY IDEAS

Try leaving the battery off for a while and try again. Otherwise, check you haven't damaged either of the lambda sensors or the wiring to them.

+1 it's gonna be the upstream lambda

reckon I need a new one or should I disconnect it?
seeing as it was disconnected on it when decatted.
MOT due April and get just get the management light switched off.
what are the costs of a new one etc?????

Disconnect the second and the light comes on

Disconnect the first and the car realy acts up.

update: drove to work today for the first 5 mind I have almost zero throttle response!
then all of a sudden it clears.
gives me no confidence for the first couple of junctions!!!

ussualy it would run crap wehn hot if its the lambda weird!!

hmm I don't have the knowledge to understand why either?
but I am 100% sure its cos of the trip to the garage yesterday
