Running Sub and Door Speakers

At the moment im just on door speakers, when i turn them up loud they start to clip, when i start using a sub will the headunit send the lows to the sub only as this will reduce the bass being sent to doors and thus mean they dont clip until alot louder?

You will have to turn the bass down on the headunit and turn the bass/gain up on your amp for the sub!

This will then only put treble with minimal base through the comps with base thru the sub at the back!

install a cross over this filters the high frequencies to the tweeters mids to the doors and lows to the sub definately worth the time and effort

Where can i get a good crossover? How much £ we talking?

Ahh ye the crossover is a good point mate,

Im not sure how much one would cost,

How you wanting to spend overall?

Could probably get some new components (Come with tweeters and crossovers)?!
