rusty engine block?

I have a newly purchased 182 with 49k on clock,
I have just noticed the engine block is really rusty and also the top of suspension mounts and a few other areas under bonnet, is this normal for a car with49k on clock, is it possible that the mileage is wrong, the last 4 yeArs on mot read correctly so am unsure

This is normal for the engine block. Just because it's on 49k it doesn't hide the fact that it's 10 year old.
