Samco induction pipe

  Clio 182
As said really. No advantage over your standard pipe, just expensive and good looking.

there is an advantage, smoother airflow into the engine but you won't notice owt

tim off here can do them cheap

I noticed increased induction noise probably where its slightly more high flow then stock. You wont notice any performance increase though.

Will it improve anything ?

Or just a waste of cash ?

More than anything....it will look good, if not a tad pricey....

Anythings got to be better than the standard odd shape bent rippled affair. As already said, air flows better when in contact with a smooth surface.

Not a performance gain but probably better flowing than stock

yeah petter flowing but you wont notice it for s**t. if you get one, dont expect any gains, extra noise, nothing!
just expect it to look a hell of a lot better than that standard plastic heap of cr4p bend! lol

here's mine, kept it pretty standard looking. if your not botherd about keeping the bay looking good... dont get one, it will be a waste of money!

Or just get a 70mm 90 degrees samco bend and re route the breather (which i have'nt done yet) Saves you cash and looks just as good

the 90 degree bends are smaller though so you cant use them with you original airbox by the looks of it meaning you would have to use an open IK and not sure if they sit a little close the the block for my personal opinion would need some good caf to prevent lower loss.

Won't notice any difference whatsoever though so IMO a waste of 50/60 quid

Sure Will!! I had mine that way for a couple of months and the car really looses performance!!... Now I did myself a cold Air Intake and its total different car to drive!

AFAIK non of the comments so far are from anyone with any form of motorsport/car/mechanical qualifications, they're the same old cliosport expert answers (no offense to anyone) ;)

the samco pipe is less restrictive, you won't notice a power difference, but it IS less restictive than the OE part (i'm qualified in motorsport engineering, incase you were wondering ;))

  LY 182
just got mine ready for the conversion along with the coolant hoses (thanks tim)
if anything its jut nice to put it together with a few quality parts.. worth the money for that alone if you know what i mean

Since when was no experience a limiting factor in the tuning industry ?? ;)

I'm afraid my bird bought me a black samco 90 degree intake hose as she saw me looking at them on net :)

May not improve anything but looks good and took two minutes to fit yesterday:)

Will get pics up
