Sand blasting in the NW

Anyone know of anyone or used someone who sand blasts alloy wheels.

yeh it removes the paint and returns them to bare metal so saves you sanding them down to refurb them.

Is bradford too far? Theres a company that sandblasts, rufurbs and paints alloys for £1 an inch (so 16" wheel is £16), would be even cheaper if you dont need painting!

Did my uncles wheels, turned out like new so i really do recommend them.

Edit: Just thought, if you needs lacquering its an extra £10/wheel, my uncle didn't need it though

Thanks for the info.

I am going to have a go at doing them myself tbh - as this is what I actually want to do.

If they end up looking s**t I will get someone to do them. At £26 per wheel though it is very competitive. From the materials I will have to buy myself it will probably be about half that cost (of four not one).

Depends on the grade of the sand i think, coarse sand can cause a slight pitting effect.
