Was in the dealer the other day sortin out my 182 and was speakin to a bloke who has had a load of probs with his renault senic I think.... not startin etc eating tyres for no reason!!! basically givin him a load of s**t anyway to cut a long story short ... if you shout load enough renault will buy your car back n give you 30% yes 30% off a new one!!! I saw the letter from RCS

My bigbrother and his wife where in an accident (in his clio 1,4s(96) where they got hit 3 times with 55mph.. 2 times in his side, and 1 time in her side...

They both survived.. and she had to spend 2 months on the hospital...
She later told me she would newer drive a Renault again...

If it had been a crappy nova og any other older small car from 96

Well my 172 is mint never had a serious problem with it really, couple of niggly ones but no real major deal. They arnt all that bad fella try and get another one out of them

sorry to hear bout that mate but that is a diferant point.......

We have had three clios in the family, mk1 172, mk1 v6 and my cup, the mk1 172 had four problems.... The v6 had the 5th cylinder bk fireing!!!! and wouldnt go on journeys longer than 10 miles

And as for my cup... im on 9 problems now..... All in which renualt claim they have fixed before! Its bullsh*t service and takes the piss

Brother owns one.... had a problem, dealers said it was there fault, no charge even called my brother to ask if they could take it out for a test drive!!!!!!!!

Sounds like youre got a reet Friday afternoon car there mate. If Reno are claiming to have fixed the problems but theyre reoccuring then Id be inclined to just cut your losses and get rid. Sometimes its just not worth the hassle...

Sell it - I have kept cars that have had problems and decided to sell - once the problems sorted I change my mind - only for another problem to appear within weeks! Doh.

The Girlfriends VTS has only had 4 weeks out of the 51 she has owned it without a problem! Shes tried selling it for peanuts but nobody wants it.
