Before I new someone who can weld I was the same. When the average age of your car is 30 years old you have to accept the odd bit of corrosion.
Yeah rust like that doesn’t happen over night. That’s been covered or ignored for years.

Yeah, the tester put ‘some under body corrosion’ probably in an attempt to cover himself.
One thing I’ve never done is a dodgy mot like that (emissions assistance aside) but anything safety wise is always legit.
So, 7 weeks after dropping my t25 off for the 1 weeks worth of paint and bodywork it is going to be ready on Saturday!
The guy is still working out the bill......yikes but I’ll be sure so update when he plucks up the courage to let me know.
